What site is this?

This site is an outgrowth of my belief that Christmas songs don't have to suck, put you to sleep or make you want to shove an icicle in your ear.

The goal is to filter out the tired, trite, moldy and manic tunes (sifting out the crud, so you don't have to) and offer stylish remakes, solid standards and cool originals.

This page started as a lark -- as many things do, with a preoccupation that may look to others like a compulsion -- and expanded as the possibilities became obvious that there is a tune for (mostly) everything.
